a5c7b9f00b Years before meeting Shrek and Donkey, the adorable but tricky Puss in Boots must clear his name from all charges making him a wanted fugitive. While trying to steal magic beans from the infamous criminals Jack and Jill, the hero crosses paths with his female match, Kitty Softpaws, who leads Puss to his old friend, but now enemy, Humpty Dumpty. Memories of friendship and betrayal enlarges Puss' doubt, but he eventually agrees to help the egg get the magic beans. Together, the three plan to steal the beans, get to the Giant's castle, nab the golden goose, and clear Puss' name. An outlaw cat, his childhood egg-friend and a seductive thief kitty set out in search for the eggs of the fabled Golden Goose to clear his name, restore his lost honor and regain the trust of his mother and town. The Shrek series has been a big treat for kids and families for the last decade, and when I found out that they were doing a spin-off for one of the most favourite characters', first introduced in the second film, I was up for it. Basically, set years before he met Shrek and Donkey, this sees how the famous cat came to be the swashbuckling legend that is Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas). The story sees him in search of the legendary and so far never found magic beans that, planted in the right place, will grow the giant beanstalk and take him to the clouds above to take the golden eggs, or rather the goose that lays them. Before this quest begins he has an encounter with a masked cat outlaw, this turns out to be Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek), who has a talent for stealing, and she is an ally with his former friend, since childhood, Humpty Alexander Dumpty (The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis). For a while Puss wants nothing to do with Humpty and helping him to find the magic beans, as he betrayed him a long time ago, but eventually he agrees to join forces, but not as a friend, but purely for the glory. The three companions track nasty thieves Jack (Billy Bob Thornton) and Jill (Amy Sedaris) who have managed to find the magic beans, and slowly Puss and Kitty are turning from rivals into close friends. They do eventually get their hands on the beans, and they get the beanstalk after Humpty plants them in the right spot, the Giant that once occupied the cloud castle no longer exists, but the mother of the golden egg laying goose, called the Terror, is on lookout. After they successfully steal the young goose that lays the golden eggs Humpty reveals that he has in fact been keeping an eye on Puss for some time, and he knew that he would be looking for the source of the treasure as well, but Kitty feels guilty of being any part in the scheme. In the end the Terror, obviously a giant goose, is defeated while attacking the fairytale world, after Humpty sacrifices himself, Jack and Jill, having being injured, are arrested, and Puss and Kitty do finally kiss. Also starring Constance Marie as Imelda, Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro as Moustache Man / Comandate, Rich Dietl as Bounty Hunter and Ryan Crego as Luis. Banderas is once again a great choice as the swashbuckling feline with all the sword fighting moves, and the amusing cat habits, e.g. chasing lights and drinking milk, Hayek does well as his fellow female feline companion, and Galifianakis is interesting as the famous talking egg. The story was slightly patchy in places, but it doesn't matter too much as it is full of some great moments that make you laugh, plenty of exciting parts, and of course fantastic computer animation creating great effects and character, a good fun animated comedy adventure. It was nominated the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year, and it was nominated the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film. Very good! Thank you Shrek for not only taking a back seatÂ…but for not even showing up.

After the enormously disappointing last two Shrek films, his absence from the feature-length Puss In Boots, reminded me of the last major election when all Republican candidates distanced themselves far from the horrid George W. Bush endorsement. Heck, they didn't want to be even seen with him.

Puss's detachment from old pal Shrek was warmly welcomed as was the lack of the usual and over-used origin story attached to a spin-off movie. In fact, the short time they spent on how Puss got his boots, was fantastic, cute, original and a lot of fun. That said, I wouldn't want the whole film based around a Kitten Looking for Boots.

The movie as a whole a grand adventure, perfect for kids and adults. The story wasn't completely original and wildly predictable, but it was perfect for the younglings while the adventure, action, comedy and homage excellent for adults.

And speaking of homage, the inevitable and integrated Shrek-franchise fairy-tales weren't over done and more part of the story, than (said in best MadTV Stuart's voice) "Look at what I can do!" from the previous movies. On a personal note, these are the ones I most grew up with: Humpty (Alexander) Dumpty and Jack and the Beanstalk. (That last one was one of my all-time favorites as a kid, and when Disney redid it, oh, it was like Christmas.)

Puss and an oh-so-not-mysterious dueling cat team up with said Mr. Dumpty to get the goose that lays the golden eggs, but are wanted by the town folk and chased by, ah hem, Jack and Jill. (Now why couldn't Adam Sandler's feature length film take be as entertaining?) Puss needs to clear his name and save the town while finding time for love.

There. That was the basic premise. See? Great for kids. As was all the adventure and inventive scenes and gorgeous cinematography and graphics. This all will entertain adults as well, not boring them for a moment.

Finally, Antonio Banderas, who already starred in 3 previous films with this same character, breathes fresh life into the best character in the entire Shrek franchise. Unlike Cleveland from Family Guy, this character not only deserved his own spin-off, he can carry it. Further, most minor/secondary characters need to rely on those kooky new characters to fill in the gaps of the normal 90-minute timeframe. Not this time; while the co-stars were fun and entertaining, Puss held his own throughout and makes me welcome a Puss 2 Boots.

As long as it's more Puss Adventures and NOT leading us any closer to his meeting of Shrek. A perfectly diverting romp that happens to showcase some of the best 3D work yet from a mainstream animated feature. Colorful, clever enough, free of cloying showbiz in-jokes, action-packed without being ridiculous about it and even well choreographed. Puss N Boots is an animated fantasy adventure comedy western and a spin-off and prequel to Shrek, in which the Zorro-like Puss N Boots (Antonio Banderas), before he crossed paths with Shrek and Donkey, was an outlawed hero, seeking to clear his name, whom agrees to help Humpty Alexander Dumpty (Zach Galifianakski) his former friend who betrayed him and his accomplice Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) to steal magic beans from the notorious outlaws Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris) and break into the giant's castle and retrieve golden eggs and for Puss N Botts to clear his name. No, the producers kept all the other Shrek characters out of the story to avoid storyline conflicts with the then in-production Shrek Forever After (2010) (2010). tamil movie dubbed in hindi free download Las manos en el fuegoCroft tamil dubbed movie downloadThe Gifted movie download hdThunder Alley full movie in hindi free download mp4The Matrix Revolutions sub downloadEternal Gangstas movie in hindi hd free downloadAppoint a Teacher for Yourself and Avoid Doubt sub downloadCode of the Prairie movie download in mp4Echelon 8 full movie hd 1080p download kickass movietamil movie dubbed in hindi free download Episode 2.21
